I looked at the thermostat housing on my parts car (RHD '81 Euro 635) and I quickly realised I had no idea what I was looking at; there seemed to be too many things and not enough different wire colours that didn't match any wiring diagrams I had at the time.... I think I have it figured out now...
I started making these notes about three years ago; a recent query has spurred me to finish it.
