E24 On board Computer setting up instructions

Good Afternoon

I hope someone can assist my customer who doesnt want to spend 14.00
on a new owners manual as she wants to know how to set up her on board computer as she has removed the battery.
If it helps her car is 1989.
Would there be an online link so she can print off the necessary instructions

Gents - probably something simple however I can't get the new(correct) time to stick

Ie currently showing as 12.03am.

I press changeover button, enter correct time, press changeover button again and the time reverts back to 12.03

What step am I missing to save the time?
