Expensive low mileage M6 for sale (UK)

Post by Motorhead »

This looks very nice.

I thought leather was standard so were the cloth seats a no cost option?

Customer "tick-the -box" option. About 30 cars were specified with cloth in Anthracite, Pearl Beige or Pacific Blue. Last car was #342.

Can't find any details in the Model price list, so assume it was a no-cost option.

One thing I did find in the list was an additional cost for "executive leather" which was ?944 in Feb. 87. ( Pre- Highline). Any ideas on what this was?
They are ALWAYS rustier than you thought!!!!!!

One of mine has Pacific Blue 1/2 leather. Having looked at it more closely, the design is different to my S2 full-leather seats, having no piping rather like the Highline design. Furthermore, I have just noticed that there is contrasting mauve stitching holding them together (on the rear seats as well). Can anybody else confirm this? Mine was a press car, but I can't see that making any difference!

This is the car in the ad.

I have seen it in the flesh. It's not a bad car but it's no minter. It looks better in the video and photos than real life.

My 1985 Diamond Black M635 had Anthracite Buffalo hide.
Mine was in good order but if left untreated it often fades and cracks.
