Owned since March 2001. Arctic Blue with Pearl Beige interior, with BMW sport seats with sheepskins. In 2013, replaced original engine with the 208 HP M30B35 engine using the matching M30B35 Motronic 1.3 ECU from a 1988 635CSi with 70,835 miles. Current mileage on engine is 79,535 miles. This engine has a much improved throttle response over the earlier 182 HP engine originally fitted to the 1986 model. Auto transmission: BMW dealer (the BMW Store downtown Vancouver) installed a genuine factory replacement ZF 4HP-22 with sport mode, now with 38,916 miles. The car has a limited slip differential and 16” genuine BMW basketweave wheels from a 1995 BMW 7 Series. Air conditioning upgraded to 134a, but does not blow very cold. Service history & receipts since 2001.
Original USA car, imported into Canada in 2003. Owned by long time BMW enthusiast and member of the BMW Club of America for over 20 years. Current BC Collector plates fitted. Includes Evolution 3 car cover, full factory tool kit and original owner’s handbook. Several boxes of E24 spares included, along with front and rear windscreens.
This is a great driving car. See the May issue of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars – they say the 635CSi Coupe is ‘smart to buy now before prices jump’. Happy to assist export to USA.
