Headlight wiper wiring

Hi - I've tried but can't find this in the ETM.

Im trying to reinstate the wipers on my M635 - the last non working part. Someone disconnected them in the past leaving the orginal reservoir, the wiper hardware fitted and hopefully best of all the relay snuggly tucked away where it should be.

So ... I have ordered another pump, one way valves and hose which should I think complete the hardware. But the wiring has me stumped.

The current reservoir has just one pump connected - along with the level sensor and both work fine.

Underneath the reservoir are the wires shown in the attached pictures - and it seems to me there are to many ?

Did the loom come with wiring for both the non headlight washer reservoir and a washer version ? The wires dont look to me as tho they have been touched other than by age and I cant think what else theyd be used for ?

one double terminal plug has a blue and a brown wire going into it - to a pump ??
one single terminal plug has 2 x purple and black, one out of the loom one of those wires goes into a double terminal plug
this other double plug also has a brown and black wire going into it.
This brown and black wire s to a fuse/thermal switch ?? which has a brown wire off it.

I'd love to know what each plug on to !

Could someone with headlight wipers lift their washer bottle and take a picture for me ?

Not sure how much help this might be. Car is an 87 UK Highline. The other pump is round the back of the washer bottle with a simple two wire connection that seems to route through the wiring that goes to the pump in shot.
