Unused diagnostic/optional equipment connectors...

Post by northNH »

Has anyone made a “roadmap” listing the function of ALL the unused/unconnected diagnostic or optional equipment (e.g. airbag, rear cooler, Servotronic, etc.) connectors found under the hood, dash, and throughout the car?
Sure would be useful...

How about these 4, unconnected above the glovebox in my ‘86 CSI:

Thanks for the suggestion,
However...

I have had a copy of the ‘86 CSi ETM you mention for as long as I’ve had my car, ~25 years now,
And have used it many 100’s of times for a variety of issues, real and theoretical.

It is the lack of a complete diagnostic connector “inventory” in the ETM that prompted my post.
The info I seek is just not there.

Maybe a later year ETM may reveal what those connections are for.

I know you can find it but I had the link here it is 1989 ETM.
