Re: WTB: Driveshaft for a 1988 with a 260/6
I did a trans swap in my 1988 635csi. Ended up buying a re manufactured and balanced driveshaft for the 260/6.
Driveshaft Specialist of Texas - tel 210 342 6622 - It was around $400 after the core charge rebate.
I tried to use the driveshaft from the manual trans donor car - got a bad low speed vibration.
Just my 2 cents.

Gotcha. thanks for the heads up. That seems like a viable option since it's half the cost of a new one.
