I know this is a long shot, but..... i just bought a gorgeous survivor '88 635csi 5-speed. It's the poor man's M635 and I love everything about the car except these terrible 'comfort seats' (what a misnomer!).

I am looking for a pair of powered later E24 sport seats...ideally 'silber' (the light grey), but the color likely doesn't matter as i am going to have them completely redone anyway. I'm guessing (at least in the US) i think the only '88-89 E24 sport seats made would be out of an M6, but i'm not sure in Europe.

I know of a set of '88 M3 manual seats available in my area, but before i buy those, i want to try and keep it E24 and powered.

I'd be happy with '85-87 seats, but...does anyone know if the seats are '87 or older, will i need a special wiring harness or anything to get the power controls to work? Also, does anyone have recomendations on the best shop for rebuilding BMW sport seats?

Thanks...I’m assuming the highline package in ‘89 meant sport seats. What color and condition?
