I'm putting e28 springs on my 81 633's Bilstein's. The shocks that donated the top hats did not have a removable spring plate. I'm looking just for two metal spring plates for the lower part of the rear shock to hold the rubber perch.

Top hats between an E28 chassis and E12 chassis are different. Something doesn't make sense

Tazzarti, I've got this pair, but I would presume that they are for E12 based, as that's what I have and would not likely have any E28 based parts
I put the steel tape there so that you can see the inner diameter
