Re: heater return hose

All M90's show as M30. There is no special classification for them. All Euro 635s up to May of model year 1982 were M90's

Re: heater return hose

The part numbers I see are 64211369934 for the inlet and 64211368715 for the return. Plug those into the space provided for realoem part search. I don't see any hoses with the part number you show unless I am missing something?? Also remember you have the early heater valve that looks like a large h...

Re: Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?

I bought my after market condenser, exact bolt in, from my local a/c shop several years ago for about $175. It was a direct bolt in and all fittings in their proper place.

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

Replacing relays certainly isn't a bad idea, but as you duly pointed out, you're just throwing parts at it :-? I think I would look more closely at the wires, relays and harnesses that you jiggled, and see if you can find any suspect connections, corrosion, etc. :-k So, I've got a few tricks to try...

On the early Euros the turn signals route through the warning blinker switch. Check to see if that will "flash". If not check that switch.

Re: How to refinish this type of bench top...

Top of my bench is birch veneer plywood with a 2'X2' 20 gauge metal plate in the middle wrapping around the front edge. That takes the abuse while the rest stays nice. Recovering the top is a lot more productive then trying to refinish particle board. I finished the top with urethane sprayed on.

Years ago during the resto of an Etype, I took the glove box into a company that did merchandising displays for retail stores. They "flocked me " for $25
Something to think about as they have the machine to do it perfect

Re: Early calipers for vented rotors

Not so. The early 4 pot calipers also have a spacer to accommodate the vented rotors I have rebuilt several pair and this is correct. The question is if
the bolt holes match to the mounting on the strutsas the E3/E12 and E23 have different part number

Try fuel Injection Corporation. I had called him years ago about my early ecu wanting to make sure it was good. He said the early ECUs rareky go bad and to save my money and was willing to spend a few minutes on the phone with me. Pretty honest it seems. I have also seen positive feedback for him on...

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

What ever upholstery you buy, make sure the amount of pleats sewn in are a match to yours. They differ between comfort seats, Recarros and BMW sport seats. 7 pleats on the Recarros, 5 on the BMW sport seats and I am not sure about the comfort seats. Also check out GAHH for upholstery kits. They make...

Try Autohaus AZ. I don't know if they still have them as it's been a while, but I was able to buy the stock type vented rotors for my 81Euro. They were Balo brand which are of good quality. I believe ECS might carry them as well

The shaft size on Series 1 cars is larger than the later Series 2. I also originally had the wrong struts for my 86' 635csi.
The correct part number is BLS34-02339. I am in Australia but sourced mine from Demon Tweeks in the UK.

There is a difference in the struts between late and early cars. I am guessing you have an early car. There is a difference in the strut mounts and they are not interchangeable due to the bolt pattern

Kingsborne Wires in CA. I bought mine from them and they are as original. Prices beat the dealers by a good bit and call them as they will make them to your spec.
