Re: Wheel decisions?!?!!

The 205/55s will give you a "slightly" better ride than 225/50s would, for instance, given the slightly taller sidewall

Maybe a good choice on your choice road surfaces \:D/

I got published in the Roundel!!! - PSF 2022 story :)

After speaking with Satch Carlson (Roundel editor) regarding how to get a story about our annual left hand coast E24 6er event, he told me that you have to write and submit your own :-? Well, I decided to have at it, even though the event was in the autumn of last year, and made it into the June edi...

Re: Wheel decisions?!?!!

There wouldn't be much difference in ride or handling, but Ralph is correct, 215/55's may be too tall and are taller than the stock size :-k

The correct tire for 7 x 16 wheels is 205/55 \:D/

Re: WTB: Stock exhaust manifolds and downpipes

Jubilados, I bought these from Ralph in SoCal a while back, thinking that I may have to go back to stock due to smog issues, but never used them :-" According to Ralph they are off an M30B34, not sure what MY, however :-? The downpipes are obviously way different, but I'm sure the manifolds wou...

Re: Alpina replica (Maxilite) fitment - 8x17 et 15

You should be fine with 235/45's on those wheels :-" I have 17 x 8 ET20 up front with 235/45's and while they are "close" to the struts, no rubbing  I have even thought about spacers up front, maybe 10 mm or so, to bring the wheels out a bit, so I also doubt that fender rubbing ...
