Re: PH Sunday Service 20th March Mercedes Benz World
PH will not save parking spaces for car groups. On-arrival parking is their formula. Meeting elsewhere in advance is often a problem because we all have different travel plans etc. So perhaps we might arrange to get together at a fixed time. Say 10.30? At the South / track entrance - by the coffee s...

Well I got on at 64 at 2.15. Shows what you can do when you have nothing else on.

2016 UK Events
I am attaching the note from Piston Heads which identifies their future meetings and - crucially - the dates that bookings open. I will try for PH MBW - booking opens tommorrow. I also hope to go to Ace Cafe on 14th May (11am), Kos's Ace Cafe event on 4th September (12 noon after the Brighton Burn U...

Phil, Can you read the info board on your original image? If this image was 1994 - then had all the upgrade work been done by then?

Re: The £50,000 RHD M635 has arrived.
I attach an image of DRC and another of the leather finish interior. I remember that I was terribly impressed with the leather. Obviously he has the wrong data on numbers of Motorsport. However much of the research has been after that time. But 0 to 100 in 11.1 and 180 top would be pretty handy. 349...

Phil, I am not sure that your image is of the car we are discussing. I cannot see the M6 badge and there is an aerial on rns wing.

Re: The £50,000 RHD M635 has arrived.
There were of course 5 UK Nogaro Silver Motorsports. This one with an M6 badge is I suppose 483 - which was owned by David Connell who presumably spent all the money put into the car. It was later acquired, I believe, by Jeremy Woodcock. David Connell was a very determined person and caused some con...

Re: 'New' Pistonheads SS rules...
The recent BMW PH event was heavily oversubscribed but I managed to get in because many people cancelled and I eventually got onto the list by sometime during Saturday afternoon. When we left on Sunday at 12ish there was quite a queue of cars waiting at the gate and I assume that security were by th...

It is showing on the MB calendar that the next Piston Heads Sunday Service will be at MBW on 20th March. ............However PH have not yet opened their lists - which you need to be on to get onto the PH parking area. So keep watching the PH site.

Re: PH Sunday Service 7th Feb at BMW UK
Excellent visit to BMW UK HQ. I signed on at 370 for a 200 limit. Close to the end they raised limit to 300 and by Saturday evening I was in. The cancellation process by PHers is very honest. My final place was 275 so nearly 100 had dropped out - proving that it is worth signing on. The next visit i...

Re: M635 - road speed/revs question
My gps sat nav and speed camera alerts confirm that my M6 at 2000 revs is at 20 mph in second gear, 30 mph in third gear, 40 mph in fourth and 50 mph in fifth. Very useful indeed for London speed cameras. My view is that the car is travelling at 72 mph at 3000 revs in fifth. So I would interpret thi...
