P-Zero Rosso'a ahould be fine . . .

Been running them for years with no problems, and I have driven in the rain with them as well

I surmise that there may be something wrong with that set, since the car sat for years without use :?

That appears a LOT like . . .

the one that Alpina used to sell

Any thoughts or comments on that possibility :?:

George, you may want to be careful and check that out first :?

Also don't forget that this placement does block the center vents, FWIW

Looks like you've got a few projects lined up, may need to perform the "needed" before the "want to" list :?

But then, you do have another 6er that you can bring

REALLY looking forward to this meet, about 15 cars signed up now 8)

Proposed route

May I ask what the probable route for our 'drive' is, or is that gonna be a surprise? No surprises, we just haven't "quite" nailed that down yet  Here are our thoughts: 280 North from Scott's place, get off either in Portola valley or all the way up to 84. Up 84, cross 35 (Skyline) ...

Hey Scott . . .

Jeez, a guy invites a few folks over, goes to Costa Rica to learn Spanish, and do dangerous things on ropes in the jungle (I pointed out to my lovely wife that every time I took her picture she was wearing a helmet...), and all hell breaks loose! Heck, it was the least we could do  And judgin...

Speedo drive

Hey Eric :-) My guess is that the 265 you have is from a later model (85?) which has an electronic speedo, driven off the diff somewhere  But while I don't want to tell you to do something that may be irreverseable, I bet that the drive gears are still there underneath that plug  So, if...

Greetings and welcome  You mention the "wheel hub" being 72.56 mm. Are you referring to the hubs on the 6er or the center bores on the wheels :? If that's the wheel bores, then you will be fine without additional hubcentric rings. However, my recollection is that these wheels have a l...

There's a few different versions out there . . .

Tazer is referring to the stock US M6 version, black rubber surround with a body colored insert. These are favored by most  But there are also a couple of Euro variants, both all black rubber. The more slim version that came on M635's and the older "rubber ducky" wedge type that came...

9" rears - not a problem :)

I am running 9 x 17's out back, ET22, which is just about perfect. Lots of room back there, for even wider wheels and tires, if you wanted to  BTW, the "correct" tire size would be 255/40's, those 265's will make your speedo readings slightly lower than your actual speed :? However, ...
