Shipping companies

My FIL just gave his pride and joy, an 81 240D (I know, but you gotta start somewhere) in showroom condition to my son. If it so much as burped he took it to the MB dealer and had it fixed. Now, I need to advice on shipping a car from Europe - companies, insurance, general advice. Any feedback is appreciated.
