No airfoil, no visible design feature to achieve flight. I'd say it's a hoax. Notice it says they will be remotely controlled. With nothing close to it for a sense of reference, I wonder if it's actually an RC model, as in small. With enough thrust you can make a brick fly (witness the F4). [-(

I think you're right. I remeber reading an article a while back bout soeone wanting to do somthimng similar with vr piloting. Looking aat it I can't see how the rotor as designed could generate enough lift off and thrust to carry aperson at any kind of speed. There aare heaavy lift drones such as the Griff 300 https://www.dronetechplanet.com/the-gri ... 500-pounds; but it's design is very different.

After visiting their site it's obviously a sleek, futuristic drone. And judging from the propeller sizes, it's not very large. They claim it's a "manned" drone. I doubt you can fit an adult in it. Maybe latter versions....

I say more power to them! We are way past due for the flying cars we were promised in the 50s!
