Crazy prices AUTOart models

Post by 635sharknose »

Have you guys seen the prices of AUTOart's scale models?
I bought 2 of them 10 years ago, an E28 M5 and a M635CSi, they did cost € 80.00 new.
Prices are now through the roof, see link below, ridiculous :-k

Wow, now that is crazy #-o

I too bought one years ago to match the green shark, albeit a Euro model :-"

Think I paid something like $40 on eBay BIN price [-(

But hey, only $4 extra for a custom plate

I recently bought an AUTOart E36 M3 that was a dealer's display model. The eBay seller thought the original box was sufficient protection to ship it from Great Britain to Alabama. It arrived with both mirrors knocked off, the left taillight missing, and the diffuser also missing. I display it so the missing pieces aren't visible, and I reattached the mirrors. It's still a beautiful model. I paid just under......well, I won't say, but it was way under current prices. I think it was worth it, even with the damage.

These models are excellent, nice that the trunk and bonnet can be opened.
But the current prices seem to be a bit to high for me...

Sorry to see that yours damaged!
