Reminder of the BMW meeting at Ace Cafe 11.00am Saturday 14th May.
Excellent (almost the one and only) London event for open attendance by BMW fans. Parking can be congested on site and for quick getaway I often park by the bus stop on the road outside. I have been going for many years and always there are interesting cars and owners to meet up with.
BTW the road works on the North Circular Iron Bridges just north of Ace have been causing horrendous tailbacks, particularly south bound / anti clockwise. Check in advance but If you can, I would recommend approaching from south / clockwise - eg from the A40 (M40).
Regards, John Rogers

Duxford this Sunday May 1st
This isn't too far from home and under normal circumstances I would be popping along to this one. Unfortunately, I am committed elsewhere on that day so shan't be able to make it.
However, I shall do my best to visit Duxford this Sunday May 1st along with the BMW Car Club GB. Lots (perhaps 10) of E24s there last year, along with some other terrific BMWs and a tonne of interesting cars from other brands and clubs. Throw in a superb collection of military aircraft and I should be a happy chappy.
Gives me the opportunity to hatch my 6er from its lair if the weather doesn't took to mucky. Out with the bucket and sponge then.....

Very friendly meeting at Ace Café with 5 E24s. Ted Robinson arrived early in his M6.
There were two very smart refurbs – their owners new to me. Kos arrived with his famous car.

Roy's car (image below) and Taylor's - which does not seem to need a front number plate.

Kos – middle of group. Shots here of the wonderful upholstery and interior refurbishment.
The car has a feeling of classy calm and very good taste.
