Hydraulic Pressure

Post by Rob's 633 »

I have a 83 633csi, Looking to replace the hose from the accumulator to the master. I can't find a new one, so I removed the old one and want to replace the flexible part, about 6 in long. Got some hydraulic hose with metal inside, I have the use of a crimper so I'm ok there. Just need to know what the pressure is on this hose, and what you think of the hose. Thanks Robert

Best option is get a good look at your PS pump. It will (should) have a metal tag with its pressure rating. I think 100 Bar which is just under 1,500 PSI.
