So brakes - brain trust. I just replaced my shocks with Bilstein B8s and since then when I brake the car stops perfectly except for the last couple of inches at very low speed where there’s the final weight transfer and it seems like the brakes almost disengage with a metallic twang and the car of judders to the left or right.
There seems to be some fore and aft movement in the wheels at final stop but lower control arms, idler arm and shocks are new. Castor bushes replaced less than 5000ks ago. Car drives and handles beautifully at speed.
Any help appreciated

I would check to make sure the caliper and bracket bolts are secure.

Thank you. Turned out to be the abs playing up. Removed the relay and the problem went away.
