Air flow meter calibration/rebuild.

Hi guys

Just had my air flow meter tested. It was found to be out of spec so needed rebuilding.
ATC drive train will test your air flow meter for £65 on a dedicated Bosch test rig. I’ve been informed it’s the only one in the uk.
If it’s no good a rebuild will cost £294 inc vat. Address is ;

Have just used them to test and rebuild the ECU for my 635CSi.

Turned it around in less than two weeks and cost £145.00. Solved the sporadic engine cutting out.

Excellent service, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.....highly recommended.

For those of us that are stateside Bavarian Restoration does AFM rebuilding as well as other services. They did an excellent job on my e28s AFM (when I use to have an e28).

Just purchased for future use as I have 2 cars using the 016 afm

Amazon used to have the 027 afm for about $80 but I have not seen it lately

Research the net and you can get lucky.

Why not convert to a MAF ? Save weight and complexity and gain a little power.
