Great Find.

I like it, Looks like an English import by the Bronze Glass? Excellent to see another 6 being refurbished.

There are a couple of 6 Series owners here, Myself and Aadam. I have an 86 635CSI Aus Delivery and Aadam has an 82 or 83 from memory 635CSI.

Have a look through my posts and you will see how extensive a job I did on mine.

I ordered nearly every part I needed from RM European in the Rocky Mountains USA. You need to open an account with a Shipping forwarder and I used a Company called Bongo international. Both RM and Bongo were excellent in my experience. This was much more economical than buying locally even after paying freight.

If you want local supply, Hanvic South Yarra and Imparts are in Nerang.

As you freight is costed on weight, i ordered items such as front brake discs locally as the added freight would have made it more costly.

When looking up parts, the site RealOem is awesome. Go into the Archive section, enter the last 7 digits of your Chassis number and your car will come up. You can go into the relevant sections and locate part numbers.

Love to see the car at some stage. Feel free to contact me should you have any enquiries.

Good Luck

Greg

one engine mount is different to the 635 csi mounts, part number 11-81-2-225-201.
Look on pelican parts.

I buy a lot of parts from them, heaps cheaper than the local stealer here.
cheers
