6er Meeting Gold Coast 5th January 4.30pm

Post by Ozibimmer »

Rob who is a member here has orginized a meeting on the Gold Coast on the 5th of January. We will be meeting at the Ferry Road Dinner at 4.30pm for a chat and dinner there. All the Guys from the BMW 6 series club will be there.
After the last very successful meeting with over 10 E24s and a beautiful E9. This will be a great time to check out each others cars and get some questions answered about each others cars.
I am trying to rally to get as many guys there to support the club.
Please PM me if you have any questions.
I think there is already 6 cars Confirmed

This is from Robs Email
Hi everyone.
Im back from OS and i thought that we need a new years event together..

As i said previously we could go for a trip down to the Ferry road Diner at Southport?

I contacted the owner today and he suggested that a saturday arvo would be the best as we could get a few photos and then have dinner there.. He would cordon off an area for us as well to make sure that we were all together..

I am suggesting either the 5th or the 12th which are both Saturday nights.. Could you let me know asap please so i can ensure that we have some room made available for us..

I have contacted the South Coast guys and they will also be coming along..!!

Time: 5th January 4.30pm
Place: Ferry road Diner at Southport?on Ferry Road

Cheers
Addam

Hi Greg
This is from Rob

If anyone doesn't have a better idea ill suggest the service road on the LHS of the M1 which you can get to by taking the beenleigh south exit and taking the yatala exit off the roundabout.. We can meet at the BP service station on the LHS which is after the shell service station and it is easy to rejoin the M1 straight after that again.. We will aim to leave the BP around 4:30

Hi everyone..
We are meeting at the Yatala BP servo which is located on the service road on the southbound side of the M1 just back from the Yatala north exit..
We will be leaving the BP around 4:30 and getting to the Diner around 5 to 5:15 i suppose..
I have talked to the Ferry Road diner owner and they are reserving some parking space for us.
see you all there..
regards
Robert

I always wondered where that went. If I remember from the Total BMW article, the guy who was selling it then wanted a "buy-back" clause in the agreement!! I'll see if I can find that original article.

Some lucky guy in Oz has got a great buy.

Looks Good Addam,

If that is PB's own M535, I think i have a magazine with an article on it here somewhere. Was it his actual car?
