OZ-35-CS has a new home!

Post by ozbmw »

With immense sadness I waved goodbye to my Cirrusblue 635CSi yesterday as the new owner drove off with a huge grin on his face.

So if Danny finds his way to bigcoupe.com please make him welcome!

For the first time in many many years I don't own a BMW.

It only just struck me now as I type this that I have had an close link to BMWs for nearly 3 decades and feels rather odd today!

Many thanks to all those who have shared the journey!

Matt,

So sorry to see it go, this Danny fella certainly got himself an exceptional car.

Thank you too for all your generosity and assistance over the years.

You're welcome on any of our cruises at any time, no matter what vehicle you're in.

Regards,
Ellis.

Matt, just spent the evening reading about all your work on the Cirrus Blue. I have one question, would you have sold it knowing the new owner wanted to change it to a manual. Sometimes hindsight can be a pain in the a*se.

Good luck with the future. There may be an ArktisBlau up for sale in December this year if you change your mind.

Cheers Vinny

Sad to see her go. A great car. Did you get the price you were after? Hope so.

Still, if we are driving your way feel free to join us in whatever wheels you have at the time.

Best.

Thanks guys, I sold it for the full asking price but more importantly to me it went to a guy who will appreciate it.

I toyed with the idea of a manual swap but would only have done that in the event that the autobox gave up.

Not sure what I will get to drive around now, the Honda CRV is infinitely more suitable for where we live but if we were to move back into city life, well then there might be an E30 M3 in my future.

I did buy a Honda CBR to play with yesterday to reduce the pain a bit.

Hi Matt,

Sad to let her go as it is one of the best if not the best I have seen. Hope you keep in touch, you still owe me that visit you promised me when I went to your place.
I have a good stock of red and the spare room if you decide to stay.

Hope Danny makes contact and since he is in the North shore he is my neighbour. I may spot the car one day.

Thank you for your advice and for sharing your knowledge of our cars.

Best regards, Orlando.
