I'm heading up to Bathurst to check out Trev's 6'er. I know most of you have hit Bathurst before but I've never been on track, so will do a few slow circuits. I still remember when Elis, Paul and Ben did it and noted the radar traps.

I may have my 6'er ready. Starting to rebuild my brakes this weekend but if not, the little Renault RS265 it is then. So if anyone is interested in coming up I'm happy to meet before hand. If not, I'll drop into Trev's and we'll be off for a drive and then find a good pub for a steak and chips.

Hmmmmmmm, stake and chips!!!!

Tempting, very tempting but i've got a bike ride planned for that day so can't make it. If you want a good pub lunch and superb drive then go the back way via Tarana and stop at the Tarana Hotel. We've stopped there a couple of times on our runs, you might have been with us on the one?

Regards
Paul

I'll keep it in mind fellas. The drive from Centenary City to Bathurst via Cowra is quite nice.

Yeah Paul I've had lunch there. What a great place. Trev, sounds like the perfect spot for a pub lunch to me. Will head up early if I'm the only car so that we can hit the track by 10am then head to Tarana for lunch.

Great photos Paul!

How long should I allow for Sydney to Bathurst on a Saturday morning? 2 hours??

I'd allow 2.5 based on a trip to Sydney last weekend.

Trev, have some emergency work to complete Saturday so need to re-schedule. I'll email and we'll look at catching up in the coming weeks.

That's true, but there is a pretty good racetrack around the corner and lots of quiet country roads.
