I was wondering what would be the cost to fixing curb rash on 2 and also rebuilding 2 wheels (17x8 +20 off set) to make a staggered set of wheels (thinking either 9 or 9.5).
Thanks

Tommy, aren't those one-piece wheels
I don't think widening them is possible, unlike 2 or 3-piece wheels
My experience with repairing curb rashed wheels is only at Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. The last time I talked to them about refinishing wheels, it was $190 each, no matter when you wanted
Think I would keep searching, think I may have other bay area wheel repair shop info, lemme take a look

Hi,
I have no info about the cost of fixing and rebuilding, but according to the spec i guess you have (or you're thinking about) RC090 17" 8J ET20 2-piece BBS set.
Instead of rebuilding, another option is to go for RC009/010 set ( originally for E31 )
RC009,17" 8J ET10
RC010, 17" 9J ET19
Would this be an option for you?
/Peter

Re: Rebuilding cost for 17" BBS RC
Hey Bob,
My wheels are the RX’s, I saw some BBS RC wheels for sale and was wondering.
I love the style 5’s but lots of folks have them.
Thanks
Hi Peter,
That would be a good option but not quite sure yet.
Thanks

That's because they're about the best looking wheel.
