Throwing Star wheel finish redo
Gents, been wanting to get this done for ages, finally had the time to get it done
I wanted to change the color of the TS covers from silver to Nogaro silver, but the shop that I used, while verifying that was a factory BMW color, they couldn't obtain it, for some strange reason
So I went through what seemed like thousands of color chips and selected what you see here, pretty close I think
I also wanted to install the old school Motorsport emblems, working on completing that look for the front and read Roundels as well, front is installed and still waiting on the rear
And man did it feel good to get her off jack stands
I also serviced the diff and tranny, bled the brakes and clutch, replaced the reverse light switch, so it wasn't a waste of time to have her up in the air for a while
The first photos of how they looked originally, the silver looks nice but I was tired of it
The second set is the revised look, love it and can't wait to take her out for a cruise
Lemme know what you guys think

Thanks sharknose, i was beginning to think that I left you guys speechless
The paint was professionally done, by a local body shop, a chain actually, so they stand by their work
And they are gonna stay like this for a while, QUITE a while
A change like this is not like changing your underwear
Glad you like it

Re: Throwing Star wheel finish redo
It's clearly visible that a pro did this, looks very well.
Yes, I like it and I really like the way you keep your baby in good condition over all these years!
