Hi

Does anyone know the paint code for the painted part of the ‘A’ pillar rain gutter trim on a Uk 86 car, Part number 51131869953.
Have tried a sample of Nagano silver, code 435 which may have been used on later car’s but it isn’t a match.
The painter needs a paint code to work from and the area to attach the paint scanner is to small for it to scan it accurately.

Thanks, on that first post I put the wrong code, should have said 235 as you told me. Cheers.
So was this paint code used until the end of production.
Guy in the paint shop made a small sample of 235 and when compared against the trim it was totally different. Even the replacement rain gutter I got from a 1985 car was the same shad of colour as my 86 trim piece.
Can only think his sample was wrong.
I may get him to make a spray can up and try that an a sample card first.
These little items take so long to sort out.
