WTB Headlight switch

Post by 86_6series »

For 33 years my headlight switch was been very stiff pulling and pushing on and off.
Well, after all these years the connection to the cluster support where the switch
snaps into broke off. I lubed with a few products but no change.

I'm afraid the stiff switch will eventually break the glued plastic.
I Gorilla glued the pieces together, and I ordered a new switch.
The new switch has the same stiffness as my old one.

I tried a friends switch and it moved like butter, smooth and
no resistance.

So I'm looking for a used switch with little or no resistance, # 1 in diagram.

I'll post on bimmerforums also.

Thanks
