Been looking all over with NO luck. I know one of you guys out there has one on a spare HVAC panel somewhere in your garage...

I was looking on and off for years, without success. In the end I eventually resigned myself to a repair , following the advice on Norm Grilles. Much easier than I thought, and it works perfectly now.

I've successfully replaced the transistor but my potentiostat is also hosed. I pried the cover off and it look like the carbon (?) track is badly munged. The only markings on it are "2.5 KOhms" so I don't know where to look for a replacement.

Any suggestions?

It may not be the blower switch. Have you tried the blower in AC and regular mode? If you can regulate the speed in one and not the other mode, it's not the switch but the sensor in the blower housing
