Just noticed this on Craigslist

Not mine, don't know the seller, but thought someone here might be interested. 1983 E24, rolling chassis, appears to come with a 5 speed manual transmission and short block. Other external engine pieces may be in the tub pictured. Body doesn't look terrible, possible a good project for someone. He's offering the whole package for $1500.

It's located roughly 180 miles from me.
