FS: NOS STAHL headers

Post by alpine23 »

NOS Stahl Headers for the early E24, E12, or E9 BMW. These will NOT fit on the later E24 (85-89).

Primary outer diameter: 1-5/8"

I bought these from the shop that was rebuilding my 1985 635 with hopes that they would fit my chassis but they did not fit. We had them ceramic coated in black. There are some minor scuffs in the ceramic coating that must have happened when test fitting the headers, otherwise they have not been used whatsoever.

$1200 + shipping (or local pickup in TUCSON, AZ)

Serial number reads "699 202"

Any further questions please ask.

Any idea what amount of exhaust surgery needs to be done to install? Obviously some removal of stock headpipes, but wondering how the remaining exhaust lines up with the collectors. Also, anyone know if these hang down much? My car is lowered a little.

Thanks,
John

Not sure how I missed your reply. The primary tube size is measured in outside diameter, which is 1-5/8". I understand that Stahl manufactured these in 1-3/8", 1-1/2", and 1-5/8" variants.

Still available and hoping to find these a home.
