Post by woody6 »

<font size="+2"><b>SOLD!!! 1978 BMW 633 for Sale
74k ORIGINAL MILES, just about 2k miles per YEAR!
Original CA car, no rust!
(Qualifies for a vintage car license plate)</b></font>

<font size="+1"><i>"A high-end two-door luxury sports coupe dubbed the 'Bavarian Ferrari,' the 6-series is considered by many to be the most aesthetically pleasing BMW of all time." </i> -- http://www.bigcoupe.com</font>

<b>SUMMARY:</b>
* 1978 BMW 633
* Fuel Injection
* manual transmission
* power windows
* AM/FM
* power antenna
* power locks & keyless entry
* sunroof
* Charcoal grey color over beige interior.
* 2 sets of floor mats (deep rubber mats for wet weather, and carpeted mats for summer)
* Excellent Pirelli tires
* BBS Mahle wheels
* Rear spoiler
* Owners manuals & Service Manual
* Car Cover

This was my brother in law's car on the west coast. I brought it here to give it some needed TLC, and to sell it on for him. Since
getting the car in my garage, I've replace the combo relay that made the car hard to keep running, and attended to the worn out
brakes. The following parts are new:

* New Fuel pump
* New Combo relay
* Rebuilt master cylinder
* New Front Brake rotors, Pads, Calipers, and hoses.
* Rebuilt Alternator

<b>The great things about this car:</b>
Dash is perfect, not cracked as are most.
Seats, door panels, and carpet have no tears or split seams
No rust
All aluminum brightwork is shiney and clean, not oxydized as is usually the case
Rubber gaskets are soft, pliable, and uncracked
SUPER low miles, and it drives like it too
All original tinted glass with BMW markings
Still has the original service interval stickers in the glass

<b>The 'okay' things about this car.</b>
This is a 35 year old car, and not surprisingly there are chips and dings on the car. Likewise, some of the carpet and upholster is
not perfectly clean. This is a incredibly original car, but it is not a museum piece.

The paint is good, but despite being garaged all its life, the roof and hood are fading. Repainting the hood and roof would make this
car a super looking original early 6 series car. The cars are now becoming collectible. Many of this model will need dash,
upholstery, rubber, and/or a full restoration. Well kept cars are hard to find.

Asking $3950
Email or call ---
(Car is located in North Alabama - Huntsville/Madison area)

Trivia:
According to the serial number, this is the 4th car made for the California market in the 1978 model year.

I cannot tell you how much I'd love to have that car .
If only you weren't thousands of miles and an ocean away ......... :cry:
Someone will be very fortunate to get it .
Good luck.

Thanks Olympia57! It is a great car, and one I would have kept in my garage were it not already full.

The car sold this evening to a young BMW enthusiast in the area.
