82-87 Euro bumpers wanted
Hi,
I’m looking to convert my world bumper car to Euro bumpers (not sure if it’s been done before) but I’ll need to source some Euro bumpers first. If anyone has a full set (front and back) please feel free to reply to this thread or DM me! If I do manage to find them I’ll have a spare pair of world bumpers for sale I guess.
I’d prefer them to be shipped from the US but if you have them and are located anywhere else, feel free to make an offer, too!
Thanks a lot

That's something you do not see very often. I actually prefer the world bumpers over the Euro's.

I guess I just don’t like how the world bumpers look on the rear end. It just looks unfinished to me for some reason lol635sharknose wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 3:34 pm That's something you do not see very often. I actually prefer the world bumpers over the Euro's.

I have a series 1 rear.
I imagine you are looking for the wrap around though.

I agree with "635sharknose",I swapped my 86 to World Bumpers about 6yrs ago.
As for swapping, much easier then swapping Euro Bumpers.

I think some mounting pieces and drilling work are needed for the Euro bumpers iirc. Not sure how difficult it would be to swap from world bumpers to Euro bumpers since I can’t find anyone who’s done it lol.86_6series wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 12:24 pm I agree with "635sharknose",I swapped my 86 to World Bumpers about 6yrs ago.

You could perhaps contact Slownrusty, he is doing a similar project.
He is converting a US type to Euro.
FYI, the US type bodywork is identical to the world bumpers bodywork (world bumpers fit to a US car without bodywork modifications).
