Gosh, that is impressive. The interior is in stunningly good condition, especially for it's age.

Nice to see the old trigger action door handles, the old analogue clock and the big green defrost button, the ceiling grab handles, and the boot on that one is almost spotless.

My first E24 was an Australian-delivered Reseda Green 1977 633, and by the time I'd finished with it the interior on the poor thing was worn to hell.

It was my daily driver for the best part of 15 years. It had put up with 100s of 1000s of kilometres of people getting in and people getting out, rainwater leaks and blazing sunshine, dirt roads, potholes, extended country drives and daily traffic commutes.

The carpet was shot, largely because the floor underneath it was barely hanging on anyway. The forward & recline mechanisms for the seats had been used & used & used & used, and were just about over it after all those years.

Whereas that one... that one is immaculate!
