Loose wires under the hood

Post by jsisas »

Hi,

I have a couple of loose wires under the hood. One of them I am not sure is even supposed to be there. And I think the orange ones are probably rear ABS connectors?

1. The weird wide plug with the red tip is going into the cabin as the thinnest wires next to the fat and middle-sized wire.

2. The orange plugs next to the coolant seem to go together at one point, but the plugs seem to be broken right now. Rear side ABS?

3. The red/orange plug near the left suspension seems the same as the ones near the coolant, but the plug that goes into it is nowhere to be found? What wire is it and where should the male plug come from?

4. Does The fat wire coming from the battery seem original? But I can't seem to locate it in the electrical diagram.
As I was trying to post it, I think I figured this wire out. It's for the subwoofer that someone installed in my trunk, behind the rear seats. At least the width of the wire matches.

5. Finally the brown wires, one of them is dangling? Should it be connected?

This should help identify most of the wires. Some of the photos show added circuits you'll have to define.
