Re: Recaro backrest cable change problem

Got it done, used a bike gear cable and connected it with the good part of the original cable, it can be done without cutting in the metal of the seat.

I am in Belgium and I am interested but shipping will be huge, I found a 2.5/2.8 near me but I do not know if it will fit.
The M90 is the same as M30 for external parts.

M30 intake manifold

Does a intake manifold from a 2.5/2.8 fit on my M90 motor? On my manifold is a marking 3.2/3.5 the reason for asking is I want to use a second manifold for an LPI system with injectors for the LPI as wel as the fuel injectors, so I still can go back to original by changing the intake manifold. Can n...

Re: 1980 Euro 635 CSIA

An update on the engine work: The head is machined, valve seats and valves are grinded, the cilinders are made bigger and the block is shaved, now the pistons are 94,75mm. Crankshaft and piston rods have new bearings. Valves and rocker shaft are back in the head, 3 pistons are back in the block, I a...

Re: 1980 Euro 635 CSIA

My piston are grooved vertical from bad oil maintenance and driving hard with a cold motor, pistons expand quicker than cast steel so they grip to the cilinder wall. I saw this when I took the pistons out and the owner of the shop where I took the blok to for flattening the top warned me about it. S...

Re: M90 questions

Are M30 valves the same as M90 valves? I had a leak in cilinder 1, the inlet valve die not close, I thought it was some dirt from the disasembly, but after cleaning the valves intake nr 1 is not closing, it remains open about 5mm without springs. The valve is bent. I lapped all the other valves with...
