Which A/C hoses do I need?

Hi all, I am in them process of fixing up my 1986 M6. It was transported from Canada to EU so all the liquids and gases were drained. I wanted to refill the A/C but a leak was discovered in one of the hoses. Since replacing an A/C hose may require a lot of time disassembling and I do not have a gara...

Re: Air conditionin function overview and retrofit/repair thread

Hi,

I'm only starting to research my own car...Where did you get that full A/C diagram from? I'd be very interested in getting a link with ideally, all the part numbers corresponding to the numbers so I know what to order :)
Thanks!

WTB power seats covers

Hi all, I am looking for two seat covers - outer left (driver) and inner right (passenger). The car is an 86' US M6 with power seats + memory. Some questions I would also like to clarify during the search: - The car has a Lotusweiss leather interior. Are the plastic parts also with the Lotusweiss co...

Re: Wanted: 1986 e24 Blower Speed Control

I seem to have the same problem... The blower is either ON or OFF, any in-between turning of knob does nothing. So any hints to a complete noob in mechanics? :) Can I please ask for a picture of the part you are looking to replace? The one with a broken pin? Ralph - any hints to what a "new mic...

Re: looking for an M6/M635CSI

Has anyone ever heard of this M6? - WBAEE1415J2560860
Currently for sale in Germany. It's quite in a rough shape but the asking price is ~20k USD. Considering buying and getting into a restoration project.

Re: looking for an M6/M635CSI

I am, but it might still be cheaper to transport the car to Europe and adding all the taxes than finding one locally.

So again, I am trying to look at all options.

Thanks,
Mark

looking for an M6/M635CSI

Hi all, I am researching if it is possible to find an M635CSI (preferably) or an M6 in decent (not excellent) shape, meaning that it should be road ready but may have some work to be done. Most Ms sold in Europe are either RHD or fully restored and costing €60k+. I know that buying a mediocre-condit...

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and not the sharpest pencil when it comes to mechanical workings so don't go too hard on me :D * Was the M30B34 engine used in Euro models all the way from 1982 till 1989? * Does the M30B34 without the catalytic converter used in Europe equal the same engine with the con...

Re: I want an E24 :)

Thanks :)
I am now beginning to realize that for the very first oldtimer and little to no mechanical skills present I am probably going to abandon the idea of restoring one... too little experience yet :)

Ms are out of reach for financial reasons ATM so this narrows the search down :)

I want an E24 :)

Hi all, Hurrah, I found a great resource where everybody is a bit crazy about the same thing as I am :) For years I have been drooling on every E24 rolling past me on the streets and each time saying to myself - "one day I will have one of these". Now I decided to take it a few steps furth...
