Re: Occasional blinker/flasher drop out
Success! A friend of mine suggested that I look underneath the steering column plastic cover (three Phillip's head screws hold it up). Steering column cover.jpg The flasher relay is mounted on the right side of the column. Flasher Relay location.jpg Swapped out with the new one and it works!

Re: Occasional blinker/flasher drop out
Here is a better picture of the tall relay. relay 2.jpg According to others with the same part number for sale on the internet, this is for interior lighting relay and has 5 pins. This is the one I bought. relay 1.jpg The symbols seem to make sense for a switching relay, and is a 3 pin relay. The or...

Occasional blinker/flasher drop out
My blinkers (and emergency flashers) are starting to work less often. Sometimes they work fine all day, sometimes they don't work at all, sometimes they work, then don't, then work again. I assume I need a new flasher relay cube, but I don't know where it resides in my 1985 Euro E24. I've read a few...

Re: Electrifying my '85 635CSi Euro
I have finally got around to documenting my conversion. Rather than do it in real time like I started on the forum, I'm sharing updates once or twice a week on Instagram. I'm up to my 8th post if you want to follow.

Re: Electrifying classics? Is a 635CSe the future?
My electrification project is still underway. I've pivoted from my original plan of using a single motor and some extra batteries I had available to going with dual motors and Tesla battery modules. I too am using Moment Motors for various components, but after seeing the quality of their work and e...

Re: Washer Bottle Bracket Missing
How 'bout some more info on electric compressor? Saw an old 50's Jag done with one and it looked quite neat I bought mine from Benling https://benling.coowor.com/ and plan to use the existing lines, evaporator, drier, etc. Or one can buy it from an EV parts shop like this one here http://store.evtv...

Re: Washer Bottle Bracket Missing
Hi Evan, I may have to move my washer bottle (I plan on putting my electric A/C compressor in that location), meaning my bracket may become available. Perhaps I could remove it from my car in such a way as for you to weld/rivet it back to your car. Can you upload a picture of what yours looks like c...

Re: Positive feedback for mdkohler
Had a great transaction with Marc (mdkohler). He went above and beyond to help get the exhaust shipped safely and a lot less costly than most methods. Exhaust arrived safely and was in even better condition than the pictures showed. Highly recommended. Thanks Ken, luckily your patience was as long ...

Re: Electrifying my '85 635CSi Euro
I bought three 440lb capacity bathroom scales and a 2x6 to attempt to weigh each corner of my 6. Ideally, all 4 wheels would have been weighed at the same time, but I didn't have that luxury. I figured I could live with this level of accuracy. Baseline measurements: Without driver and with ~5 gallon...
