Re: (not affiliated) euro '78 633csi in WA

Ah, I thought that wheel looked familiar after all \:D/ My first BMW was an E21 320 iS, don't recall that steering wheel per se, but I was gonna say M1, figured I would get blasted for that :-" I also had an early Euro eons ago, and IIRC, the rear seat belts were added as part of the DOT proces...

Interesting steering wheel as well, not sure if I've ever seen that one :-k

Rear seat belts appear to be a DOT addition at the time of federalization

Maybe later I'll touch up the visible rusty spots Song, you should go back, remove the new tips and coat all of the rusted areas with POR-15 :-" It comes in lots of colors, including a version of silver that I used on the rusted portions of my brake rotors \:D/ Otherwise, looks great =D> I was...

Interesting indeed :-" Our X5 has something similar, but both sides do function, eventually  On a cold start, the exhaust only comes out of one side for about half a minute, before the other side opens :-k One has to wonder what BMW is thinking with these setups, besides making things mor...

Center console installation in a series 1

Yes, finally got to yet another project, something I purchased about a hundred years ago  I had picked up a center console from a series II eons ago and finally dug it out and figured out how to mount it, which took a little figuring, since series I cars don't have these originally :-" Lu...
