Re: Rear arch repair panels

The later cars have a fit where they are a lot closer in between. I also found where the top of the arch is has an inner and outer panel I cut a section fro...

Re: Lower valance
You can buy large, long rubber ramps. Put them between the curb and your driveway. Another idea is to get a section of rubber hose, slit it and put it over the lower lip of the airdam

If you don't want to go new, look up WhitePost Restorations. IIRC they sleeve the cylinder in stainless and do a total rebuild.

Re: Buying an alternator?
On the E9 forum someone mentioned they are using Delco alternators. I don't know if it's P&P.. Either way you should replace with at least a 90 amp unit unless you have one already.I picked up my 90 on eBay, rebuilt, for less than a $100

Re: Carpet underlay
Well, if I am not mistaken, isn't bituminous tar paper? We covered the floor with it and the a small layer of closed cell foam and then used what was left of the original foam to it once I had a solid base, I glued the original foam to I and filled the missing part of it with new foam. My local auto...

Mounting flanges should be square with 4 bolts holding them. I would think they should fit unless the flanges are 2 bolt My guess is you might have to reconfigure the down pipes....maybe
