Strange design that never got past our lovely DOT here in the states, but I do believe there are a few running around :shock:

I think I also read that BMW is trrying to ressurect a similar design, that will pass DOT this time :?

Moving closer to the sway bar increased the stiffness, away decreases it :?

E21 Recaros are not marrower than the E24 version!

This may come as a surprise, but the seating surfaces themselves are not narrower in the E21 version, probably no different in theE30's either. BTW, pretty sure that E30 "sport" seats are not manufactured by Recaro :? Here is a shot of E21 Recaro's in my 6er, easy swap in an E12 chassis 6e...

Pretty sure Brian (BC admin) had these on his L6 . . .

they were indeed 8x16, but the offset was ET23 (23mm), which required the use of spacers up front :?
