Flywheel bolts .

Post by olympia57 »

Hi all .

Compiling a list of items for a 265/6 installation.
After checking the size of the flywheel to crankshaft bolts for the manual flywheel there seems to be confusion on RealOEM and W&N sites as to whether they are M12 x 1.5 x 22 or M12 x 1.5 x 28 .
Can anyone confirm the correct size for a solid flywheel to M30 crank .

Thanks , Don

For some reason the manual uses 28mm - 11227805885, auto 22 -11220616143. Change your car to an auto on realoem to see. WN don't appear to list the 28mm.

Thanks for the reply .
Yeah , I found those part nos. but as the drawing used was the same for auto and manual showing the same components I wanted to ensure that the 28mm was the correct one .
Herr Walloth replied to my question and sent the link to the 28mm version .

The A/T tranny flywheel is much thinner than the manual
therefore the use of shorter bolts.
