Sharknose 2015 (Netherlands)

Post by duracel79 »

Not sure how much interest there would be but I went to this meeting last year and enjoyed it, with a wide variety of sharknose BMW's.

Last year there were two B7STurbo's :wink:

Based on the pictures, that looks like a fun gathering.

For sure the best Snarknosemeeting in Northern Europe one can go to when on the main continent.

Been going for a few years now and it's awesome every time. Lots of great cars, great people, a little market for parts, interesting services (R12 regas for instance).

I'll be going again this year =D>
The M88/3 was all about power, no cats. At idle the raw fuel from the exhaust will make your eyes water like an old V-8 powered muscle car's exhaust did.

I'll look forward to seeing some of you there then. I've also been going the last few years and this year as last I will be in the main hall by the Schmiedmann stand. I've got a few items from Schmiedmann on the car and Kenneth, the owner, appreciates my talking to potential customers. My Miller MAF conversion always seems to generate some interest among the knowledgeable. last year I was running the GENIII chip but have changed it last winter for the programmable WAR chip. This still needs some tuning to get it right so I still have a lot to do this summer.

See Ya,

If you didn't make it this year you did miss out with over 300 classic sharknose BMW's and the weather was good as a bonus.
Looking forward to more of the same next year now.

@Duracell

Just realised that I met you guys at the Sharknose. I forgot at the time that this discussion had taken place.

@Kos

Ditto Bimmerfest

I'm going to have to catch the ferry your way sometime. Be nice to get a few guys from over here to tag along
