UK Sherborne Castle 8th April

Post by Bobo W »

Just wondered who's going to the Southern Concours at Sherborne castle - Owners club is giving big push to all shark cars with the inaugural event here

I'm sorry but concours events, cars, and quite a lot of their owners leave me cold.

Normally yes, however Sherborne is the launch of of the Sharknose Collection by the UK BMW Owners Club aimed at furthering interest in E3-E28 and so there's a push to get as many shark cars to attend. Allied to that there's now an E24 register run by the gentlemen who owns 2000AL so plaudits to the club for making the effort so despite misgivings over concours / their owners it would seem a laudable event to attend even if you just show your face and then go off to the Bovington Tank Museum.

I went and also went to Bovington Tank museum - good weekend apart from breaking down on M25 on way home and having to wait 5.5 hours to be recovered!
