Hi. My front right bumper rubber is coming of. The clips that hold them have rusted through so I don’t know what the look like. And do I have to take the bumper off to replace them.
Thanks
Antony

Re: Front bumper rubbers
Part number 7 a square head M6x25 bolt secures the rubbers to the bumper. The part number for the bolt is 51111860064
Yes the whole front bumper/spoiler assembly has to be removed. Need to remove the 2 number 12 bolts on each side and either the number 6 or number 4 bolts. Rusty bolts are going to be a your biggest problem. Use heaps of penetrationg oil and let sit for a few days. Good luck.

Re: Front bumper rubbers
Inside the rubber is a channel that retains the square shallow headed bolts . If the bolts are very rusty they can lose their square head and therefore turn in the captive channel thus requiring the nut side of the bolt on the other side of the bumper to be cut off .
The channel can also swell and distort if rusty making it difficult , if not impossible , to sit flush with the bumper when refitted.
I had both of these issues and after making up my own oversize headed bolts eventually went for new rubbers and bolts.
If you do go down this route there are two different rubber profiles , one for the spoilered bumper and one for the non spoiler version ( 628) .
And yes they are expensive ...
The spoilered version is on the right .
