Hello,
This is my first post! I just acquired a 1980 Euro 635csi and was wondering what people are doing for rear plate mounting? Obviously the spot is not as tall as US plates. Any photos of what people are doing? I can fab a bracket, but if I don't have to reinvent the wheel, that would be nice.
Thank you,
John

Re: Rear plate mounting on early Euro car
I did a search. Scan the list of posts referring to rear plates.

Re: Rear plate mounting on early Euro car
I just put my plate in a metal brake and bent the bottom under. Personally,I don't like the look of the angled plate.

Re: Rear plate mounting on early Euro car
I cut my plate....
I did get a little grief for doing so from a cop once... but no ticket and I just explained that it was a European car and a regular plate wont fit... and also that all the info was there.
So I have kept it that way.
