I’ve tried using the search function, but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
So here’s my question: has anyone put a modern engine of similar size in their 6ers? Because it seems with the 40 year old technology it gets harder to keep up or even add power to the aging systems. Surely there’s something out there, or am I dreaming?

Conversions are a real experience and money pit. I think you are better off buying a Metric Mechanic built motor and just drop it in.

I have both a MM 5 speed and their 3:46 diff with 3 clutches and 30 degree ramp.
Their stuff is awesome, speak to Jim or Ted.
