ALOHA! 1989 “Cirrus Blue” highline from Honolulu, Hawaii!!!!
Aloha!
Not-so-new member here, been on the board registered for about 4-5 years now, but been lurking for 7+ before I bought my first e24 while I was doing my due diligence learning about the shark.
This is my 1989 Cirrus Blue Highline. Hawaii based it’s entire life, originally sold from BMW of Maui. I am the 3rd owner.
I am based here in Honolulu and have seen a few sharks around the island as well, met some good folks! If you are in Hawaii, say Hi, I would love to meet you.

Aloha! Absolutely beautiful E24! I live in Ewa Beach and saw this car a few months back on the H1, near the Sears Distribution Center headed to the west side headed. Was trying to catch up with it but all I got was a quick glimpse and that license plate.
Hope to see it in person one day (not on the freeway) to chat and get a good look at it. I’m still getting my 633CSi (1984) road worthy. Shipped it here from Los Angeles about 2 years ago.

Aloha bro.
Surely would love the opportunity to check out your car. Still in the process of putting my 633 back together. Just ordered all new hoses for the air compressor that I had rebuilt. That and changing out/cleaning all the other lines and o-rings/dryer/expansion valves.
I’ve only seen 3 or less 633/635’s on the island. I had a “spare 633” that I stripped but wish I took more parts off of it. I got the bull of the interior but the little odd and ends I wish I paid more attention to removing.
If your interested, I have an original leather seat out of my 633 that I’m not using. No rips or tears, been holding on to it but have no use fit it. PM me if you are interested in getting it. It’s free, just don’t have room in my storage.
Hope to see AND catch you on the H2 one day.
Aloha’z
