Knee deep into my restoration project. I am considering having the aluminum trim refinished. This I imagine would require sending those pieces to a shop that can strip off the existing anodized finish and redo. Anyone here do that?
I found a few shops that do that kind of work and have sent an email with some questions.

Re: Aluminum trim
Hi
Be careful taking it of as it will bend, if you try straightening it, it will never fully straighten and parts of it are nla.

Re: Aluminum trim
Thanks for the heads up Ronnie- I have an extra set already removed off another car- the hard to remove sections along the roof line. There are other more sturdy pieces like the window sill sections. I have those off the car now for replacing the weather-strips on the exterior and now is the time if I can find a place to do it.
