I like this chap!

I'm always surprised that the rear styling escapes the obvious criticism that the updating from the Series 1 meant the "funny ribbed bit" on Euro cars to hide the gap caused by the slimmer bumper. The Series 1 does look more resolved in this area, especially in a mint gold-coloured one.

Mind you, the guy who bought my '84 635 hated the rear end from the get-go, despite having a fondness for kicking the same out around every available roundabout!
